Govt assigns additional charge of KVS Commissioner to Prachi Pandey (IA&AS)

Prachi Pandey (IA&AS) has been given additional charge as Commissioner of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS)

New Delhi: Prachi Pandey (IA&AS) has been assigned with the additional charge as Commissioner of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS). The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal for entrusting additional charge of the post of Commissioner of KVS to Prachi Pandey (IA&AS) on August 21.

Pandey is an Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS) officer of 2001-batch. Presently, she is serving as Joint Secretary in the Department of School Education & Literacy under the Ministry of Education.

According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on August 21, Pandey will hold the additional charge of the post for a period of six months with effect from July 27, or until a regular incumbent is appointed, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education, responsible for managing the central government’s chain of Kendriya Vidyalayas across India.
