Harikumar M (IRTS) has been appointed as Director in the Olympics Division under the Department of Sports

New Delhi: The Government of India has appointed Harikumar M, a 2011-batch officer of the Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS), as Director in the Olympics Division under the Department of Sports, Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS).

According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), his appointment will be for a period of two years from the date of assumption of charge of the post. The tenure may be further extended as per the admissible limits under the Central Staffing Scheme or until further orders, whichever is earlier. He was recommended for Central deputation by the Ministry of Railways.

The order directed that Harikumar be relieved of his present duties immediately to take up the new assignment.
