New Delhi: Harilal Kaippancheri Madhavan (ITS) has been selected for the appointment as Director in the Department of Sport under the Ministry of Sport.
Madhavan is an Indian Trade Service (ITS) service officer of 2008-batch. He was recommended for the Central deputation by the Department of Commerce.
According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) issued on March 12, Madhavan has been selected for the appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS) for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
"He may be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignment in the Department of Sport,” the order further added.
