IRS officer Vaibhav Kumar Singh Deputed to NTRO as Scientist D

Govt has approved the deputation of IRS officer Vaibhav Kumar Singh (IRS) to the National Technical Research Organisation (NTRO) as Scientist ‘D’

New Delhi: The Government of India has approved the deputation of Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer Vaibhav Kumar Singh (IRS, C&IT: 2015) to the National Technical Research Organisation (NTRO) as Scientist ‘D’ .

According to an office order issued by the Department of Revenue under the Ministry of Finance on August 21, Singh’s services have been placed at the disposal of NTRO for a period of five years. The deputation will take effect from the date he assumes charge of the new post, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Singh is currently serving as Joint Director with the Directorate General of Systems & Data Management (DG Systems & Data Management), Delhi. The order follows approval conveyed by NTRO in its letter dated August 3, 2026.

The Department of Revenue has directed the Principal Director General, Directorate General of Systems and Data Management, to relieve Singh to enable him to take up his new assignment at NTRO.
