New Delhi: Jitender Singh (IES) has been selected for the appointment as Director in the Department of Agriculture & Farmers & Farmers Welfare on Tuesday. According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Singh has been selected for the appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.

Singh is an Indian Economic Service (IES) officer of 2008 batch. She was recommended for the Central deputation by the Department of Economic Affairs. “He may kindly be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignment in the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.
