New Delhi: Jivan Kautikrao Bachhav (IRS) has been selected for the appointment as Deputy Secretary (DS) in the Ministry of Culture, Govt of India. According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), he has been selected for the appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of four years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.

Jivan Kautikrao Bachhav is an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) of the 2011 batch. He was recommended for Central deputation by the Department of Revenue. "He may kindly be relieved of her duties immediately with instructions to take up her new assignment in the Ministry of Culture," the order further added.
