Jivisha Joshi (IRTS) appointed as DS in DPIIT

Jivisha Joshi Gangopadhyay (IRTS) has been selected for the appointment as Deputy Secretary (DS) in the Department of Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT)

New Delhi: Jivisha Joshi Gangopadhyay (IRTS) has been selected for the appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) on April 19, she has been selected for the appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS) for a period of four years with effect from the date of taking over charge of the post until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Joshi is an Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer. She was recommended for the Central deputation by the Ministry of Railways. “She may kindly be relieved of her duties immediately with instructions to take up her new assignment in the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT),” the order further read.
