Juhi Mukherjee (IAS), who was recommended for Central deputation by the Ministry of Home Affairs, has been selected for the appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs

New Delhi: Juhi Mukherjee (IAS) is set be Deputy Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs. According to a DoPT order issued on September 18, she has been selected for the appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of four years with effect from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The order further added that she has to join the post within three weeks from the date of issue DoPT's appointment order.

Profile of Juhi Mukherjee (IAS)

Mukherjee is a 2007-batch India Administrative Service (IAS) officer of AGMUT cadre. She is currently serving as Chief Electoral Officer/Secretary in the Directorate of Information & Public Relations of the government of Arunachal Pradesh. She holds a BA (Hons) in Economics and completed an MA in Economics from Punjab University. She joined administrative services 2007 in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. She had served as Deputy Commissioner (HQ), Revenue Department and Deputy Commissioner, New Delhi.
