Kaushlendra Pratap Singh elevated to Director in MoD

The Government of India has approved the re-designation of Kaushlendra Pratap Singh, as Director in the Ministry of Defence (MoD)

New Delhi: The Government of India has approved the re-designation of Kaushlendra Pratap Singh, an officer of the Indian Trade Service (2011 batch), as Director in the Ministry of Defence (MoD). He was previously serving as Deputy Secretary in the same ministry.

The decision was formalized through an Office Memorandum issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on March 19. The elevation is a personal measure granted to Singh, effective from the date he assumes charge of the re-designated post. His tenure as Director will extend until February 12, 2028, aligning with his central deputation period under the Central Staffing Scheme.
