Keshav Kumar (IFoS) has been selected for appointment as Director in the Ministry of Earth Sciences

New Delhi: Keshav Kumar (IFoS) has been selected for appointment as Director in the Ministry of Earth Sciences. According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Kumar has been selected for appointment as Director in the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.

Kumar is a 2022-batch Indian Forest Service (IFoS) officer of the AGMUT cadre. He was recommended for the Central deputation by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. "He may kindly be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignment in the Ministry of Earth Sciences," the order further reads.
