Komaijit Meena (IRS) has been selected for the appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Defence

New Delhi: Komaijit Meena, an Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax) officer from the 2012 batch, has been selected for the appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Defence, Delhi. The appointment has been made under the Central Staffing Scheme, according to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).

Meena was recommended for Central deputation by the Department of Revenue. His tenure in the new role will be for a period of four years from the date he assumes charge, or until further orders, whichever comes earlier.

The order also directs that Meena be relieved of his current duties immediately to enable him to take up his new assignment in the Department of Defence.
