Kowsigan A (IAS) appointed Director in Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying

Kerala cadre IAS officer Kowsigan A has been selected for the appointment as Ditrector in the Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying

New Delhi: The Central Government has approved the appointment of Kowsigan A (IAS) as Director in the Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying. He is a 2009-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer from the Kerala cadre. Presently, he is posted as Chief Electoral Officer of Kerala.

According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Traning on July 20, Kowsigan has been appointed to the post under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years from the date of assuming charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The DoPT has directed the Kerala Government to relieve Kowsigan A of his present responsibilities immediately to enable him to take up his new assignment in the Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Delhi.
