Kunal Kashyap (IRS) appointed as Commissioner in DDA

Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer Kunal Kashyap has been appointed as Commissioner (Housing) in the Delhi Development Authority (DDA)

New Delhi: Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer Kunal Kashyap has been appointed as Commissioner (Housing) in the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) on Wednesday.

According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) issued on February 21, Kashyap has been appointed to under the Central Staffing Scheme from the date of taking over charge of the post and for a tenure up to November 8, 2025 (i.e. 05 years combined tenure on ex-cadre and CSS posts put together under the Central Staffing Scheme) or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.

Kashyap is an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer of 2008 batch. “He may kindly be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignment in the Delhi Development Authority under Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs,” the order further reads.
