Lalithalakshmi (IAS) appointed as Director in PMO

The Central Government on Thursday approved the appointment of Lalithalakshmi (IAS) as Director in Prime Minister's Office (PMO)

New Delhi: IAS officer Lalithalakshmi has been appointed as Director in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Lalithalakshmi as Director in PMO. She has been appointed to the post on lateral shift basis for the balance period of deputation tenure up-to February 28, 2027 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Lalithalakshmi is a 2008-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of West Bengal cadre. Presently, she is posted as Campus Director of National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Kolkata.
