Mahesh Chandran R appointed as OSD to MoS External Affairs V Muraleedharan

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Mahesh Chandran R as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Minister of State for External Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Mahesh Chandran R as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Minister of State (MoS) for External Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs (V Muraleedharan) in the Ministry of External Affairs. Prior to this assignment, he was working as Chief General Manager (Law) at State Bank of India (SBI). According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Mahesh has been appointed on the post at the level of Deputy Secretay for a period of four years with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or on co-terminus basis with the Minister or till the ceases to function as OSD to the Minister or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
