New Delhi: Manoj Tiwari (IPS) has been appointed as Director of the Dr. Ambedkar Foundation, New Delhi. The appointment, approved by the Competent Authority, is at the Director level and on deputation under the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment.

Tiwari is a 2003-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of Sikkim cadre.

As per the official communication, Tiwari will serve in the role for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier. He has been directed to be relieved of his current responsibilities immediately to assume his new assignment in New Delhi.

Tiwari brings extensive experience from the Indian Police Service and is expected to provide strong leadership in advancing the Foundation’s mission.

The Dr. Ambedkar Foundation, established under the aegis of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, works to promote the ideals and legacy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, focusing on social justice, equality, and empowerment.
