Mayur Maheshwari (IAS) assumes charge as CEO of UPSIDA

Mayur Maheshwari (IAS), who was serving as Director in Prime Minister's Office (PMO) has assumed charge as CEO at Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA)

New Delhi: Mayur Maheshwari (IAS) has assumed charge as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) on Monday. Prior to assuming charge as CEO at UPSIDA, he was serving as Director in Prime Minister's Office (PMO) for last five years.

Maheshwari is a 2003-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre. He is an Engineering Graduate (B Tech). He started his career in civil services as Joint Magistrate & Collector at Kaushambi (UP) in 2003. Subsequently, he served various important positions including Chief Development Officer of Prayagraj, District Magistrate & Collector of Badaun, DM & Collector Ayodhya etc. in the state.

Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation

Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation (UPSIDC), also called a UP State Industrial Development Corporation, is a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) of the government of Uttar Pradesh, which promotes industries and develops industrial infrastructure in the state. Its industrial areas are equipped with infrastructure facilities likes roads, drains, internal power lines, street lights, etc. The corporation has developed 159 Industrial areas (including Uttarakhand) and 23 residential areas encompassing 41,948 acres of land with a wide range of infrastructure facilities. The corporation comes under the Department of Infrastructure and Industrial Development of the government of Uttar Pradesh.
