Mayur Ratilal Govekar (IAS) appointed as DS in MoRTH

The Central Government has approved the appointment of Mayur Ratilal Govekar (IAS) for the post of Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways of India (MoRTH)

New Delhi: Mayur Ratilal Govekar (IAS) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary (DS) in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH). According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) on Tuesday, Govekar has been appointed to the post under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS) for a period of four years with effect from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Govekar is a 2014-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Tripura cadre. Presently, he is posted as District Magistrate & Collector of Gomati District in his home cadre. “He may kindly be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignments in the Ministry of Road Transports & Highways,” the order further stated.
