Mohd Zubair Ali Hasmi (IAS) appointed as Director in Niti Aayog

The Central Government has approved the appointment of Mohd Zubair Ali Hasmi (IAS) as Director in the Niti Aayog

New Delhi: Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Mohd Zubair Ali Hasmi has been appointed as Director in Niti Aayog, the apex public policy think-tank of the Government of India. According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) on March 13, the Central Government has approved the appointment of Mohd Hasmi as Director in the Niti Aayog, under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS) for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Mohd Hasmi is a 2008-batch IAS officer of Tripura cadre. Presently, he is posted in in his home cadre. He may kindly be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignment in the Niti Aayog.
