Moinak Mukherjee (ISS) appointed as Deputy Secretary in Defence Ministry

New Delhi: Moinak Mukherjee (ISS) has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Defence, Delhi under the Central Staffing Scheme. According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Mukherjee has been selected for appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of four years with effect from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. "He may kindly be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignment in the Ministry of Defence," the order added.

Mukherjee is an Indian Statistical Service (ISS) officer of the 2011-batch. He was recommended for Central deputation by the Ministry Statistics and Programme Implementation.
