New Delhi: Monika (IPS) has been selected for the appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Rural Development under the Ministry of Rural Development, Govt of India. She has been selected for the appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS) for a period of four years with effect from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further order, whichever is earlier.

Monika is 2014-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of Himachal Pradesh cadre. She was recommended for Central deputation by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
