New Delhi: Govt has approved the appointment of Narpat Singh (IRTS) to the post of Railway Adviser in the High Commission of India, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Traning (DoPT), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Railways for the appointment of Singh for the above-mentioned post with the diplomatic status as Counsellor (with RG), for a period of three years from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Singh is an Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) of 2009-batch. Previously, he was posted as Director (Traffic Transpiration) in the Railway Board.
