Neeraj Surendran (IDAS) appointed as Deputy Secretary in MSDE

Neeraj Surendran (IDAS) has been selected for the appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE)

New Delhi: The Government has approved the appointment of Neeraj Surendran, an officer of the Indian Defence Accounts Service (IDAS) of the 2015 batch, as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Delhi.

According to an official order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on October 1, Surendran was recommended for Central deputation by the Department of Defence. He will serve in the new role under the Central Staffing Scheme for a tenure of four years from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The order further stated that he should be relieved of his current responsibilities immediately to enable him to take up the new assignment in the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship.
