Nidhi Chhibber (IAS) given additional charge as CEO of NITI Aayog

The Govt has appointed senior IAS officer Nidhi Chhibber as the interim Chief Executive Officer of NITI Aayog

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the assignment of additional charge of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NITI Aayog to Nidhi Chhibber, an IAS officer of the 1994 batch (Chhattisgarh cadre).

Chhibber is currently serving as Director General of the Development Monitoring and Evaluation Office (DMEO) at NITI Aayog. She will assume the additional responsibility following the completion of the tenure of B.V.R. Subrahmanyam (Retd.), a 1987 batch IAS officer (Chhattisgarh cadre), on February 24.

According to the official order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Chhibber will hold the additional charge until the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
