Nikhil Gajraj (IAS) appointed as PS to Dr Mahendra Nath Pandey

The Central Government has approved the appointment of Nikhil Gajraj (IAS) as Private Secretary to Union Minister Dr Mahendra Nath Pandey in the Ministry of Heavy Industries

New Delhi: The Central Government has approved the appointment of Nikhil Gajraj (IAS) as Private Secretary to the Union Minister for Heavy Industries Dr Mahendra Nath Pandey in the Ministry of Heavy Industries. According to a Personnel Ministry order, he has been appointed to the post at the level of Deputy Secretary with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post and for the balance period of his tenure of five years as Private Secretary i.e. up to August 27, 2024, or on a co-terminus basis or till he ceases to function as Private Secretary to the Minister or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Gajraj is a 2008-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Haryana cadre. Previously, he has held as PS to Dr Pandey in the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.

Mahendra Nath Pandey is an Indian politician currently serving as Minister of Heavy Industries he previously served as Minister for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship of India and Member of Lok Sabha for Chandauli since 2014.
