New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Pawan Jeet Singh, an Indian Ordnance Factory Service (IOFS) officer of the 2012 batch, as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Agricultural Research & Education (DARE), Delhi.
According to the order issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) on Friday, Singh has been appointed under the Central Staffing Scheme for a tenure of four years from the date he assumes charge, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The DoPT has directed that he be relieved of his current responsibilities in the Department of Defence Production to enable him to take up his new assignment immediately.
