Pawan Kumar (IAS) appointed as Director in Department of Rural Development

New Delhi: Pawan Kumar (IAS) has been selected for the appointments as Director in the Department of Rural Development on Monday. According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) issued on February 19, Kumar has been selected for the appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS) for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.

Kumar is a 2008-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre. "He may kindly be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignment in the Department of Rural Development, Delhi," the order further added.
