Pawan Yadav (IAS) appointed as DS in Home Ministry

Indian Administrative Service officer Pawan Yadav has been selected for the appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs

New Delhi: Pawan Yadav (IAS) has been selected for the appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Monday. According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) on July 1, Yadav has been appointed to the post for a tenure up to April 2, 2027 with effect from the date of assuming the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Yadav is a 2014-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Manipur cadre. He is presently on compulsory wait in the Ministry of Power. “He may kindly be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignment in the Ministry of Home Affairs,” the order further added.
