Preetinder Singh Padda appointed Deputy Secretary in DPIIT

The Govt has approved the appointment of Preetinder Singh Padda, IP&TA&FS (2013), as Deputy Secretary in the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT)

New Delhi: The Competent Authority has approved the appointment of Preetinder Singh Padda, IP&TA&FS (2013), as Deputy Secretary in the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Delhi.

Padda, who was recommended for Central deputation by the Department of Telecommunications, has been appointed for a period of four years from the date of assuming charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

According to the DoPT order, he has been directed to be relieved of his present duties immediately to enable him to take up his new assignment in DPIIT, Delhi.
