Priya Ranjan (IFoS) gets tenure extension as NHB, MD

Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare's Joint Secretary Priya Ranjan (IFoS), who is also holding additional charge as MD of NHB, has been given tenure extension

New Delhi: Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare's Joint Secretary Priya Ranjan (IFoS) who is also holding additional charge as Managing Director (MD) of the National Horticulture Board (NHB), has been given tenure extension as MD of NHB for a period of three months with effect from March 23, 2023, or till the appointment of a regular incumbent to the post or until further orders, whichever is the earlier.

According an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of the Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare for extension of the additional charge of Ranjan on Thursday.

Rajan is a 1998-batch Indian Forest Service (IFoS) service officer of Rajasthan cadre. He is currently posted as Joint Secretary in Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare.
