The ACC has approved the appointment of Palaniswamy Subramanyan Karthigeyan as Joint Secretary in the Department of Atomic Energy

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Palaniswamy Subramanyan Karthigeyan, a 2004-batch Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer, as Joint Secretary in the Department of Atomic Energy.

According to an official order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Karthigeyan will serve in the position for a tenure of three years — up to April 6, 2027 — or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
