The Govt has appointed Rahul Bhanudas Mali (IAS) as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Women & Child Development

New Delhi: The Government of India has appointed Rahul Bhanudas Mali (IAS) as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Women & Child Development under the Central Staffing Scheme. According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Mali's appointment has been approved for a period of four years from the date of assuming charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Mali is a 2016-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Nagaland cadre. Prior to this appointment, he has held key roles in Nagaland’s state administration, including in departments related to planning and development.

The DoPT, in an official communication dated August 6, directed the Chief Secretary of Nagaland to relieve Mali immediately so that he may take up his new assignment in Delhi.
