The Central Government has approved the appointment of Rasaal Dwivedi (IRS) as Private Secretary to Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri

New Delhi: Rasaal Dwivedi (IRS) has been appointed as Private Secretary to the Union Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri. The Central Government has approved his appointment for the post on Thursday.

According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Dwivedi has been appointed to the post at the Deputy Secretary level with effect from the date of taking over charge of the post and for the period up to March 15, 2026 (i.e. for the balance period of his tenure of five years as Private Secretary) or on co-terminus basis or till he ceases to function as Private Secretary to the Minister of until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Dwivedi is an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer of 2011 batch.
