Rasaal Dwivedi (IRS) promoted to Director-level in Petroleum Ministry

New Delhi: The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has approved the re-designation of Rasaal Dwivedi (IRS) as Private Secretary (Director level) to the Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri. This re-designation marks a significant elevation from his previous role as Private Secretary at the Deputy Secretary level to the same Minister. The change in designation is effective from the date he assumes charge of the newly re-designated post.

Dwivedi is an Engineering Graduate (B. Tech) in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Raipur. He also did a Post Graduate Diploma of Management in Finance and Strategy from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode. He is skilled in finance, management consulting, SPSS, project planning, business analysis, risk management, business strategy.

He has also undergone professional training at the National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes & Narcotics as part of his IRS induction.

Over the course of his career, Dwivedi has held several pivotal roles, including Private Secretary to the Minister of Urban Affairs, Civil Aviation, Commerce & Industry, and Additional Private Secretary to the Minister for Commerce & Industry; Civil Aviation; and Housing & Urban Affairs. His extensive experience and educational background position him as a key contributor to the Ministry's leadership team.
