Rocktim Saikia (IRS) appointed as PS to Sarbanana Sonowal

The Central Government has approved the appointment of Rocktim Saikia (IRS) as Private Secretary in the Ministry of Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways

New Delhi: Rocktim Saikia (IRS) has been appointed as Private Secretary to the Minister for Ports, Shipping & Waterways and Ayush Sarbananda Sonowal in the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways in the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways in addition to his present assignment as Private Secretary to the Minister for Ports, Shipping & Waterways and Ayush Sarbananda Sonowal in the Ministry of Ayush. According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), he has been appointed to the post for a period up to September 13, 2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Saikia is an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer from the 2010 batch. He has been serving as Private Secretary to the Minister for Ports, Shipping & Waterways and Ayush Sarbananda Sonowal in the Ministry of Ayush.
