New Delhi: The Government of India has assigned additional responsibility of Member (Finance) of the Space Commission to Seema Jain (IAS). As per an official notification issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) issued on Friday, Jain has been given the additional charge of Member (Finance) Atomic Energy Commission, Department of Atomic Energy.
This development follows the relinquishment of the position by Pankaj Kumar Mishra (IRS).
Jain is a 1991-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Punjab cadre. She will hold the additional charge until a regular appointment is made or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
