New Delhi: Sivaprasad S, an Indian Revenue Service (Customs and Indirect Taxes) officer from the 2009 batch, has been selected for the appointed as Director in the Department of Defence, Delhi. The appointment has been made under the Central Staffing Scheme, as per an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).
Sivaprasad S was recommended for Central deputation by the Department of Revenue. He will serve in the new role for a period of five years from the date he assumes charge, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The order also directs that Sivaprasad S be relieved of his current duties immediately to facilitate his joining in the Department of Defence.
