Subhash Kumar (IDAS) appointed as DS in Defence Ministry

New Delhi: Subhash Kumar (IDAS) has been selected for the appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Defence. According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Kumar has been selected for the appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS) for a period of four years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.

Kumar is an Indian Defence Account Service (IDAS) officer 2011-batch. He was recommended for the Central Deputation by the Ministry of Defence. "He may kindly be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignment in Ministry of Defence," the order further reads.
