New Delhi: Sudarshan Bhagat (IOFS) has been selected for the appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Coal, Govt of India. According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Bhagat has been appointed to the post under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS) for a period of four years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.

Bhagat is an Indian Ordnance Factories Service (IOFS) officer of 2012-batch. He was recommended for the Central deputation by the Department of Defence Production. ""He may kindly be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignment in the Ministry Coal," the order further reads.
