New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Sivagami Sundari Nanda (IPS) as Special Secretary (Internal Security) in the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).

According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), the ACC has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs for the appointment of Nanda with effect from the date of joining the post and up to the date of her superannuation i.e. December 12, 2024, or till further orders whichever is earlier.
