New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Sunil Kumar Jha (IPS) as Special Director General of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on January 15.
According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Jha has been appointed to the post with effect from the date of joining of the post and up to January 31, 2027. i.e. date of his superannuation or till further orders whichever is earlier.
Jha is a 1993-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of Bihar cadre.
