Swapna Devireddy (IRS) appointed as DS in Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation

Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer Swapna Devireddy has been selected for the appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation

New Delhi: Swapna Devireddy (IRS) has been selected for the appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation on Friday. According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) on December 1, she has been selected for the appointed to the post under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS) for four years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.

Devireddy is an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer of 2010-batch. She was recommended for the Central deputation by the Department of Revenue. "She may kindly be relieved of her duties immediately with instructions to take up her new assignment in the Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation," the order further stated.
