Swati Meena Naik (IAS) appointed as Director in Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation

The Central Government has approved the appointment of Swati Meena Naik (IAS) as Director of Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation

New Delhi: The Central Government has approved the appointment of Swati Meena Naik (IAS) as Director of Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation under the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation.

According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) on July 14, Swati has been appointed to the post under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS) for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.

Naik is a 2007-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre. Presently, she is posted as Secretary in the Women & Child Development Department, Govt of Madhya Pradesh. "She may kindly be relieved of her duties immediately with instructions to take up her new assignment in the Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation," the order further read.
