New Delhi: Syed Zubair Husain Noqvi (IES) has been selected for the appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs. According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Noqvi has been selected for the appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of four years with effect from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.
Noqvi is an Indian Economic Service (IES) officer of 2011 batch. He was recommended for the Central deputation by the Department of Economic Affairs. “He may kindly be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignment in the Department of Economic Affairs,” the order further read.
