These two newly appointed Union Ministers get Private Secretary

Sujeet Kumar (IAS) and Vaibhav Bajaj (IRS) have been appointed as Private Secretary to Union Ministers Sarbananda Sonowal and Mansukh Mandaviya respectively

New Delhi: The Central Government has approved the appointment of these two officers as Private Secretary to these two newly appointed Union Ministers.

Sujeet Kumar (IAS) has been appointed as Private Secretary to the Minister for Ports, Shipping & Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal in the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways. He has been appointed to the post at the level of Deputy Secretary for the balance period of his tenure of five years as Private Secretary i.e. up to July 24, 2024, or on the co-terminus basis or till he ceases to function as Private Secretary to the Minister or until further orders, whichever event occurs the earliest. Kumar is a 2010-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Gujarat cadre.

Further, Vaibhav Bajaj (IRS) has been appointed as Private Secretary to the Minister for Health & Family Welfare Mansukh Mandaviya in the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoH&FW). He has been appointed to the post at the level of Deputy Secretary. Bajaj is an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer 2009-batch.
