New Delhi: Tina Dabi (IAS) has assumed charge as Joint Secretary in the Finance Department of the Rajasthan Government on Friday. Prior, to this assignment she was serving as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sriganganagar District Council, Rajasthan. The information of her assumption of charge of the post has been given by herself in a tweet on Friday. "Joined as Joint Secretary Finance (Tax) to Govt of Rajasthan today," she wrote on Twitter.

Tina Dabi is a 2016-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Rajasthan. Hailing from Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Tina did her schooling from Convent of Jesus and Mary School New Delhi and Bachelor of Art (AB) in Political Science from Lady Shri Ram College for Women of Delhi University. She is the first-ever Dalit woman who topped the Union Public Service Commission's (UPSC's) civil service examination. Prior to joining her current position, she was serving as CEO of Sriganganagar District Council.
