Tushar Arun Karmarkar (IInfoS) has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Health Research

New Delhi: Tushar Arun Karmarkar (IInfoS) has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Health Research. According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), he has been selected for the appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of four years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.

Karmarkar is an Indian Information Service (IInfoS) officer of 2012-batch. He was recommended for Central deputation by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting. “He may kindly be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignment in the Department of Health Research,” the order further read.
