New Delhi: The Competent Authority has approved the proposal submitted by the Ministry of Culture for the premature repatriation of Uma Nanduri (IFoS), who has been serving as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Culture. The repatriation will enable her to avail the benefit of promotion in her parent cadre.

Nanduri, an Indian Forest Service (IFoS) officer from the Odisha cadre of 1993-batch, has been holding the position of Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Culture, where she played a key role in various policy initiatives and programs aimed at promoting and preserving India’s rich cultural heritage.
