Vandana Singh (IAS) appointed Commissioner (Land Management) in DDA

New Delhi: The Central Government has approved the appointment of Vandana Singh (IAS) as Commissioner (Land Management) in Delhi Development Authority (DDA) under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.

Singh is a 2013 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Uttarakhand cadre. Presently, she is posted as Director General of the Horticulture and Agriculture Department in Uttarakhand.

According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on July 21, the appointment has been made under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of four years from the date she assumes charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The DoPT has directed the Uttarakhand government to relieve Singh of her current responsibilities immediately so that she can take up her new assignment in the Delhi Development Authority under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
