New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Vickey Kumar, an officer of the Indian Postal Service (IPOS) cadre of the 2010 batch, as Director in the Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks (CGPDTM), New Delhi.
According to an Office Memorandum issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Kumar has been appointed at the Director level (Level 13 in the Pay Matrix of the 7th CPC) on deputation basis under the Central Staffing Scheme. His tenure will be for a period of five years from the date of assuming charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The CGPDTM functions under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The order further stated that Kumar should be relieved of his current responsibilities immediately to enable him to take up his new assignment.
